Our Team

Mark Kosiba

Mark started his career working in Multi-Billion Dollar Multinational companies, in a multitude of different industries. These large companies are where he learned to strategically build data-driven teams, systems and processes that drive scalable, measurable and impactful improvement to gross margin, revenue, customer experience, speed-to-market, profit and cash.  Mid-way through his career, Mark transitioned to small, startup companies where he worked at 3 companies that had 3 exits with combined shareholder value of over $2B.

The Private Equity Owned business required a complete gut-job of Sales, Marketing, Product, Manufacturing, Systems, China/US Operations and Culture.  115 of the original 125 employee team were replaced and the headquarters was moved from Oregon to Utah. While completely rebuilding the business, they saw an incredible top and larger bottom line growth that included a 4 Year EBITDA CAGR of over 55% annually and a Grill Product margin increase of almost 1,000 basis points.  The 4-year exit for the PE owner was a massive multiple of invested capital .

Prior to Traeger, Mark was employee #25 of a headphone startup, Skullcandy. During his 4.5 years at Skullcandy, Revenue grew from $30M to $300m with a 2011 IPO. Mark’s team built the entire Supply Chain/China/US operations servicing 50+ counties.

Mark also worked with an Integrated optical-networking chip startup, Multilink that grew from $10M to $100M of revenue with a 2001 IPO.
